We moved to PSC in December 2016 and haven’t looked back since. Prior to this, our former IT Manager had developed a bespoke Microsoft Access database for us to document bookings and customers but unfortunately as he left the company, we needed to incorporate an established piece of software, designed for the magazine publishing industry to run our sales operation.
PSC has been extremely advantageous to our business in helping us streamline our business processes. We are now able to effectively manage our clients through the sales process, from making a booking, to chasing artwork and finally raising, sending and exporting invoices.
A real stand out feature for us here at Steam is the ability to export a single spreadsheet full of our invoices for the month which we can then import into Sage with a few simple clicks. This saves us masses of time keying in data which we had to do previously.
PSC’s reporting facility is also a huge plus point for us as there is a suite of over 250 different reports in the system for use within the entire business. The sales reports enable me to have an insight into where the business is at very quickly, and the dashboard is useful for looking at live data.
I also love the fact that PSC can be accessed from anywhere in the world. No matter where I am, I can log into the system easily, from my phone or tablet and continue my work if necessary.
It also means our team at Stream aren’t tied to the office, they have the flexibility to work from home or to login to the system when onsite with our clients. Since using PSC we are able to manage everything from one location, I can see all of the sales prospects, customers and activity. It allows me to keep better track of everything that is going on and much easier than before. The time spent on the accounts has been significantly reduced because we can now link to Sage rather than transcribing everything into Sage.
